Maximus Air Cargo's growth plans take off at TIACA Air Cargo Forum 2010

Maximus Air Cargo, the UAE's largest all-cargo airline, today announced the launch of a new suite of ACMI and Charter services at TIACA Air Cargo Forum 2010 hosted in Amsterdam.

The airline, which has flourished since its inception in 2005, is moving to a new stage of growth and the introduction of these enhanced services heralds the start of this strategy. In addition, plans are already afoot to add more medium to heavy freighters to its fully owned fleet of eight all-cargo aircraft.

With an already strong existing client base of leading airlines that include Etihad Crystal Cargo, Maximus is now rolling out the next generation of ACMI solutions. 'ACMI Select' will offer a suite of premium services which
offer a range of services which can be tailored to specific needs. These services are ideal for start-up airlines without AOCs, brokers needing a one-stop-shop, and of course established airlines needing solutions beyond today's ACMI standard.

Similarly, Maximus Air Cargo's charter solutions will also undergo expansion. This will result in 'Charter Select', a new suite of innovative premium services. 'Charter Select' will provide customers with the benefit and simplicity of a single point of contact giving ultimate peace of mind. In addition, Maximus Cargo offers a rapid response service which can provide the expertise, team and processes in place to launch a charter flight in as little as six hours subject to aircraft availability.

The airline, which was recently awarded the accolade of Cargo Airline of the Year (SCATA awards), is also a market leader in providing heavy and outsized cargo solutions, VIP charter and equestrian transport. Last year it transported the UK's Household Cavalry beyond Europe for the first time in history. In addition its expertise and commitment to humanitarian services is renowned and it is the official partner of the UAE Red Crescent and founder member of 'Care by Air'.

Commenting on the launch of the expanded services, Fathi Buhazza, President and CEO of Maximus Air Cargo and founder of Care by Air said, "Maximus Air Cargo is the largest all cargo airline in a country that is fast- becoming a strategic hub for aviation and logistics. The airline is now ready to lead the way and move to the next stage of growth, and this ultimately means expansion in terms of fleet and services. One of our strengths has always been our high level of customer service and we will leverage on this together with our enhanced services and fleet to differentiate the airline setting benchmarks in the MENA region and beyond."
